A Poem I Have Written #4

Wrinkles of an Elephant
an unnatural line
of heavy gray stones
craggy rock
sprouting from the cold cement

firm and unmoving
enormous
yet friendly
those gentle, gentle giants

the elephants of landscaping
solid in their entirety
worn smoother
by countless raindrops

pounding and weathering
into bulky curves
yet still with miniscule wrinkles
the wrinkles of an elephant
